His feet

I asked him if he had seen other pictures of people’s feet over my shoulder or something, on the computer.  He said no.

I thought of collective conscousness, how creative ideas often happen simultaneously among us, how ideas are really never our own.  The farmer said that everyone in beginning photography in high school took this picture.  What is the draw?  Is it a way of saying, here I am, this is where I am planted right now?  I suppose it depends.  For this guy, it was the colors, true to the visual artist in him.  He said he loved the rust and green together.

Oh, and of course, he thought it was cool to capture the peace sign and yin-yang he has drawn on his shoes.
