To The Point


This week on the farm we….
Began milking our goat!!!!
Finalized fall and winter growing plan!!!
Gave the rest of our laying hens to some friends with a predator safe chicken yard
Made fresh chevre, mozzarella, and ricotta cheese!!!!!!!!!!!
Moved our meat chickens from the greenhouse to the chicken tractor because they were jumping at least half a foot to eat the tomato plants in there!
Weeded and weeded and weeded some more.


Had a fabulous day at Farmer’s Market, the market just continues to grow and thrive–yeah! Celebrated the solstice…does this mean summer is finally here!!


Plans are being made for another blog devoted to how we, you, and others eating local produce are preparing their veggies…details coming!
